By accessing the website at https://thesageraven.com/, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws, and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright, register, and trademark law.​

2. Disclaimer

Tarot Reading is subject to interpretation and should not be taken as absolute. Tarot does not predict the future. Tarot will not force you to follow a particular course of action, or attempt to exert any form of control over your free-will. Tarot Reading does not replace professional, medical, legal or business advice. Please consult a lawyer or other professional when necessary. The contents of a Tarot Reading are not legally binding.  Any decisions made, or actions taken by you as a result of your Tarot Reading are your sole responsibility and have not been forced upon you by your Tarot Reader at The Sage Raven. The Sage Raven assumes no legal liability for any damages, losses, or other consequences of any client decisions, subsequent to, or based on, Tarot Readings conducted or obtained through The Sage Raven. Please use your best judgment at all times. Reiki, Tarot and Energetic Sessions address the spiritual and energetic aspects of a mental or physical illness, disease, disorder or stressor and should not be viewed as replacement for appropriate medical or mental health services and should be used it conjunction with traditional medicine only as a complimentary service.  Please consult a medical professional for any serious health concerns, both physical and mental.  It is only with the complete understanding and acceptance of the above that your Reading/Session will take place.

3. Code of conduct

The Sage Raven is accepting of all people, and will not discriminate based on age (must be 18 or older to purchase a reading due to local ordinances and laws), gender identity, religion, sexual identity, creed, ethnicity or any other concept. You will be treated with the same respect regardless. The Sage Raven asks that you please refrain from the use of any mind altering substances before your session. The Sage Raven will refuse service to anyone that is clearly under the influence or intoxicated. Please show The Sage Raven respect and be engaged in the session.  If you become disrespectful, harassing or argumentative, The Sage Raven will end the session immediately. All clients are to be over the age of 18.  By booking a session/reading, you confirm and agree that you are 18 years of age or older. Anyone violating this policy will be personally liable at their expense.

4. Privacy

All readings and services are offered with complete confidentiality. The Sage Raven will not share your information or any information of the reading with any other party. All readings and services are provided for the client only. Please do not share/sell the information with any other persons or parties. Recording your session, using audio, video or both is strictly prohibited.

5. Limitations

In no event shall The Sage Raven or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials or services on The Sage Raven website, even if The Sage Raven or an The Sage Raven authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

6. Accuracy of materials

The materials appearing on The Sage Raven's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The Sage Raven does not warrant that any of the materials or services on its site are accurate, complete or current. The Sage Raven may make changes to the materials or services contained on its website at any time without notice. However, The Sage Raven does not make any commitment to update the materials or services.

The Sage Raven has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and/or associated social media connections and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by The Sage Raven of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

8. Modifications

The Sage Raven may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you agree to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

9. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Massachusetts and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

10. Appointment cancellation policy

Returns cannot be made after fulfillment of the sale/service is complete. All cancellations and re-bookings require at least 24 hours notice. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment start time will not be eligible for a refund.

11. Gift certificates

All bookings made are subject to availability; and change. Advance booking is required. Must be used in one visit. Optional gratuity not included. Please quote the gift voucher number at the time of booking. Gift certificates are nontransferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or certificate for unused differences can be issued. Not valid with any other offer or discount. The actual gift certificate must be presented for validation on arrival. Any reservation made using your gift certificate will be subject to our normal booking policy. Gift certificates will be automatically redeemed in the case of a no show. We are not responsible if a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.

12. Party and event cancellation policy

All event dates must be secured with a 50% non-refundable retainer. This retainer holds the date and time on The Sage Raven's calendar and is due upon booking confirmation. The remaining 50% of the total event fee is due 14 days prior to the scheduled event date. Payments can be made via Venmo or by check made payable to: James Spanks. If the event is canceled less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date, the 50% retainer will be forfeited. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event will result in a full refund of monies paid, excluding the 50% retainer. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your event. We will do our best to accommodate changes when possible.

13. Accepted forms of payments

The Sage Raven accepts the following forms of payment for services rendered: Cash Clients may pay in cash for any services provided. Cash payments must be made in the exact amount due plus optional gratuity, as The Sage Raven may or may not provide change. Personal checks made payable to James Spanks are accepted. Checks must be signed and dated, and the written amount must match the numerical amount. A $45 fee will be charged for any returned checks. Venmo Clients may also pay via the Venmo mobile payment app. The Sage Raven's Venmo username is @thesageraven. All payments are due in full at the time services are rendered, unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance. The Sage Raven reserves the right to deny service to any client with an outstanding balance.
